| Mary Stoer-Wenger
Mary Stoer-Wenger RN, BSN, MS has been
a consultant, coordinator, and facilitator for corporate, community,
and school groups since 1993. She brings the unique perspective
of sports psychology to personal and professional performance. She
has co-authored and presented one of the few studies tracking adventure
education behavioral change mechanisms, which is published in the
International Journal of Sports Psychology, April 1998.
Mary has worked with clients in conference,
outdoor, and adventure-based settings. A representative sample of
the workshops she presents are Meyer's Briggs, True Colors, Conflict
Mode, and Brain Maps. She also designs and delivers outdoor experiential
programs using mediums such as ropes courses, rock climbing, and
basic orienteering.
Additionally, she is certified as a Ropes
Course Facilitator, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPR,and Wilderness
First Responder.
Representative corporate clients Mary
has worked with include: Pfizer, Philips Petroleum, Smith-Kline
and Beechum, and the American Cancer Society.
In her spare time, Mary is a competitive
master's tri athlete, a soccer mom and player, and works as an Exercise
Physiologist with the Active Options and Sage Network's ColoradoFit
programs for the 62+ populations in fitness, wellness, and lifestyle
change.
