Bio
“ Let no one ever leave you without being better.” Mother Teresa

Ari Carol has been working with groups for over a decade to help people discover their passion for life and a greater appreciation for the unique gift each person brings to their world. As the foundation for his life and work Ari values respect, humor, and an unwavering desire to bring people together to create widespread peace and compassion. As a mental health professional Ari is a LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with training and certified expertise in brief therapy, models of change, conflict resolution, addictions counseling, diversity training, program development and evaluation, grant writing, and playology.

A leader in challenge course programs since 1994, he has brought the power of humor to diverse groups of people in the U.S. Russia, Kenya, and the Philippines. Ari offers extensive experience working with corporations, families, and schools emphasizing the value and power inside each person.

Ari not only applied his skills and passion as a family therapist but as a facilitator in a variety of environments. From the beginning of his work with incarcerated and foster youth, through working as an in-home family therapist with families from the Department of Social Services, to his current work in public schools as a expert in community building, Ari has always maintained the importance of using humor, sincerity and genuiness as core beliefs.

From there came the natural progression into the experiential training field. Currently, Ari’s training provides him the opportunity to run programs incorporating rock climbing, snow shoeing, challenge courses, rafting, storytelling, classroom workshops, music, art, and orienteering. He has also turned these skill toward more traditional indoor work with corporations and has co-created training’s to increase the effectiveness for those working with groups such as HR directors, trainers, and facilitators. Ari has coached senior managers from companies such as T-Mobile Communications to increase employee efficiency and retention.

In 2001, Ari began his affiliation with the Fearless Living Institute. This connection has not only allowed him the opportunity for incredible personal growth but also the honor of taking the concepts of personal power and responsibilty to others through groups and teen leadership conferences.

In 11 years in the industry Ari has facilitated 100’s of programs for dozens of school districts, corporations, federal and non-profit agencies, and personal growth seminars.

“ A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove ... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”

In his work as an independent business owner and for Play For Peace, Hands On Resources, Leahy & Assoc., Foothills Consortium, WestPines Training Center, True North, Peak Experience, LaFare Conference Center, Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort, Winter Park Resort (as a volunteer ski/ snowboard instructor), Emily Griffith Center, and Sky Mountain Ranch, the GlenDouglas Consultant Group, and the TeamWorks Training Corporation, Ari has designed and worked with The Community Challenge School, Kent Day School, Denver, Weld, and Aurora Public Schools, Adams, Douglas and Boulder County Schools, Shell Oil, Norwest Bank, Information Handling Services, Play For Peace, Denver Jewish Community Center, FastTrack Electronics, Savage Industries, Exxon Oil, EDS, Phil-Estate Corp., Anti-Defamation League, North Metro Community Services, Leading, Learning Communities, Micro-Motion, Proctor & Gamble, Denver Children’s Home, Ameri-Corp, Warren Tech Training Center, Clear Creek County Youth Services, University of Colorado, University of Denver, Regis University, Federal Housing Authority, Central Agency for Jewish Education, Adams Community Mental Health Center, Elite Edge, Boulder County, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ventiv, Arrow Corp., PEAR Designs, Clarify
